Så længe jeg lever
A debate as a national portrait
Så længe jeg lever or "As Long as I Live" taken from the title of a famous Danish song, was a debate staged at the Theatre Får302 in September of 2008. A cultural debate amongst prominent politicians, artists, and scholars was arranged to discuss the state of the Danish culture after 10 years of a liberal/conservative government.
Panelists discussed the following topics in 20 minute segments:
What is Liberalism and does it exist in Denmark today?
Who controls the media and who is it's audience?
Who is responsible for defining Danish culture?
The debates were transcribed and made into a play to be performed in future theatrical contexts.
